Given the current pandemic, this is a bit too close to home. Many people's lives stopped in March 2020 when the pandemic grew out of control in the United States. Many of us have been living for a year with restrictions.
As this is geared to teens, it is not something I would have read as a teen. I would not want to overwhelm a teen with this story at this time when some have been isolating with their families.
