I have to say this book confuses me. I don't know where it's going. We have this girl, Trudy or Tru as she calls herself. She's in high school. She's in this class studying time. She discovered track and field games by accident. She really throws the javelin very far. There's this strange switch in her home. Her father builds boxes around it. The interior of her house is strange, based on her unreliable description of it. Oh yeah, time seems to have stopped. Whatever.
