When I first saw the cover, I was slightly confused yet interested. The rotation of houses subconsciously reminded me of the all to familiar feeling of living the same day over and over again as a member of the class of 2021. I feel as though the author captured high school life as perfectly and normally as she could for the books setting. Connecting with Truda was incredibly easy since we both throw javelin in track and field and know the emotions that come along with living through a traumatic event in society.
