I don't have a huge interest in this genre to begin with, so this will be a pass/DNF for me. However, I did think it was eerily creepy how the prologue resembled some of what we encountered during the pandemic lockdowns of last spring (i.e. limits on goods at grocery stores). I hope this book does well, it's just not my cup of tea.
