I've never read any of A.S. King's other works, but the synopsis really pulled me in! I really enjoyed the snippet that I was able to read, and found A.S. King's writing style captivating. However, if I saw this book at a bookstore, I most likely wouldn't pick it up — the cover just isn't really my thing!
