Honestly, reading this excerpt, I am quite confused, but also intrigued. Right off the bat, I have a lot of questions about the situation described as 'time stopping.' Overall, this sounds like a really unique concept and I would read the whole book. I do find the symbols and punctuation style a little distracting though.
