Loved this nice coming of age story! Our main character Charlie is narrating the story 20 years later and it's funny at times, I really liked the funny dialogue but it's also very serious as it does have some darker themes like depression since his father was very depressed after the mom left them. There was also quite a bit teen drama but not bad teen drama. I really liked Fran, Charlie's first love and it really did have some very nice characters (except for the mom) I did not like the mom. Charlie's friends were something else at times but I enjoyed reading about them as well. This was a very nice and easy read. It was entertaining and I enjoyed reading it very much. I would definitely recommend for an easy and light read.
