I really enjoyed this book. The author did a great job in telling Charlie and Frans story. Charlie was a relatable character. Nothing is really going good for him and he struggles to be home because his father is in a deep depression because Charlies mom left him. He struggles with the day to day life of being a teenager that is until he meets Fran. He meets her by accident and gets lured into a theater Company. He is asked to join this very eclectic group of people and hilarity ensues. Charlie falls Fran and they begin a interesting relationship. Charlie starts to learn about himself and seems to mature more and more as the books goes on. Because this book is written as adult Charlie you already know what happens at the end but I don't think that takes away from the story. The character development and story are great and you want to keep reading to see what happens next.
