if I had to describe this book with one word, it would be: Satisfying. Although it is satisfying, it is still just another coming of age story in which the main character Charlie Lewis, whose grades are not spectacular, borderline failing. But over a summer, he meets Fran Fisher, a girl who he joins a Shakespeare company in order to impress. I loved how David Nicholls was able to bring the characters to life in a way that it convinces the reader that they are a part of the Shakespeare Company, and you become to the characters to the point that you could feel guaranteed that you know them personally, specially with their flaws and and their personal conflicts in conquering what you know will definitely be of a benefit to the main characters. I would recommend this book to people who loved Stephen Chbosky's, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."
