Most books which contain time travel/flashbacks tend to automatically have a paradox of the protagonist realizing they have changed so much from when they were happy and ultimately change their entire present life to reflect that lifestyle from the past. Thankfully, Sweet Sorrow seems to follow a path where this paradox is nullified and the plot is not predictable. Yay!
