Slow start but I have a good feeling about this one...
I felt that this book got off to a bit of a slow start with Charlie detailing his last day of secondary school. However, the action starts to pick up when he meets a young woman in a meadow, and she mentions "The Company". Where will their story lead?
As someone who was almost the exact same age as Charlie in 1997, I feel like this will be story I can relate to. I know what it was like to come of age during that time period, and I'd love to see where Charlie's journey takes him. I also know that David Nicholls knows how to write a beatufiul story with interesting characters, so I am confident that I will enjoy this one!
