Taking us on a journey back and forth through the past and present, the story starts slow and intricate. I enjoy the time it takes when a writer gets me in the mood, creates the setting, gives me some time to take in the characters...and slowly starts revealing the story. Author David Nicolls is great at giving us feel good books filled with charming characters and a nostalgic setting. I am looking forward to this book.
