Another romance from BookishFirst. I’m kind of hoping for a few different genres from this going forward because I’m just not the target audience for contemporary (or any, really) romance.
I thought this one was also...fine. Nothing off-putting, but nothing that’s really engaging. Honestly this felt like YA, but men don’t get classified as Young Adult anywhere close to the frequency female authors do for comparable work.
Just a lukewarm “no thanks” from me.
