My first impression of Sweet Sorrow is that I've never read this story from the male perspective before. I've read a lot of books about women who were invisible in high school coming to terms with former obscureness and coming into their own. I would really be interested to see how it plays out from the male perspective. Is is angsty and fierce, quiet and contemplative? After the first little bit I definitely want to know Charlie more.
