I was initially intrigued just based on the synopsis. This sounds like a sweet story suffused with nostalgia and melancholy just like Nicholls’ previous book, One Day. Once reading the first few pages, I was hooked! Nicholls’ breezy writing style and the quickness of the plot pulled me in. I am excited to read more!
