Sweet, a bit haunting, and measured in tone, the writing of this story shines. Each sentence pulls you a little closer to the psyche of the main character, a man who isn't quite ready to step forward into the next phase of his life until he has made peace with his past. This book has great potential--I look forward to seeing the rest of the story play out.
