This cookbook has a unique presentation that I have never seen before. Heather Kim's revenge-themed recipes takes the expression of kill them with kindness to a whole new level. This cookbook could work well for everyone from experienced bakers to the complete novice.

Do not read this book if you don't have a sense of humor. Jokes abound throughout the book and it all relates in some way to the theme of revenge. Though the most actual revenge you could get out of it is to make yummy treats without sharing. The recipes are real dessert recipes and not the tampered with stuff that may come to mind when you think of cooking for revenge.

Interspersed among the recipes are cute and funny informational pages that cover basic baking related topics in a unique way. For example, one of these pages gives a sort of personality profile on the various types of sugar.

I have not tried all of the recipes because I don't do sweets terribly often, but the ones I have tried have turned out really great. Some of the recipes I will probably never be brave enough to try, like the butterscotch candied bacon, but most of the ones I have yet to try seem like they will be awesome.
