This cookbook seems like the perfect solution whenever you're feeling down - the running joke of the book being that it's for when you're suffering from a breakup, but honestly I think this would be perfect for anytime you've got the blues (or are really hungry).
I love the photos, they're clever and vibrant, and as a bonus they even include the food the recipes are teaching us how to make (I can't stand it when a cookbook doesn't include food photos - how am I supposed to know what the end result looks like?)
The recipes look delicious and drastically different from your typical cookbook finds. I personally love unique recipes like this - I find that people appreciate those sort of baked treats more.
