This book started out with so much promise. It was nicely laid out, had a great plot and was moving forward. I would say the first half of the book was excellent.
The adults had departed and then the country went into chaos. The book was still doing good.
The children took over and had their share of fun and then slumber.
Instead of bolstering up the children, the book WENT OFF THE RAILS!
The book then decides to go to America where children are playing war games. America decides that EVERYONE needs to play war games.
AND THIS IS WHERE THE BOOK is ridiculous.
Children talking about ICBM's, Apache Helicopters, etc.
They could negotiate a place to play the Olympic War games and be diplomatic but COULD NOT Figure out how to NOT go to war?!
