Great read
This dystopan read is an especially interesting one. While of course this idea is hardly believable, it is also very intriguing. I am not sure how much I really liked it, but truth to be told, it is an interesting cultural experience. It meets Lord of the flies and uber-sci fi. With the premise of a supernova giving everyone over the age of 13 radiation poisoning, the setting outlines a world rule by children. I believe what makes it interesting is the uniquely Chinese voice, and cultural backdrop. I cant help but wonder: how would the story be different it was set in North America or Europe? Would the children behave similarly? I found the ending slightly confusing, and some arts a bit redundant, but I think overall this can be a nice read, especially if someone is already into the genre of sci-fi, making it into a candidate for the Christmas gift list.
