I love seeing science fiction with a non-white perspective and this book seems to promise just that. People trying to survive in the harshness of a world that will die and the desperate need to teach the children who will survive. I am a little confused on how children under the age of 13 would survive a super nova but I guess that would be the reason to read this book. So many questions and so many paths this book can take. I am really excited to read the rest of the story.
