"On this night, history as known to humanity came to an end."

The prologue ends with the sentence, "On this night, history as known to humanity came to an end." What a way to kick off a book! Following the prologue, we delve into a beautifully created sci-fi world where adults are wiped out by the supernova and children are left by themselves in a worldwide version of Lord of the Flies. This was a long 1st impression, which gave me lots of time to get to know the world and the characters. Really excited to read more.
