I shouldn't be surprised - Cixin Liu is always spectacular - but wow. First off, giving an 109 page preview is kind of insane, right? I got deep in the weeds with the preview. There's a lot of technical jargon that is not interesting to me, but the key to good sci-fi is the ability to use that jargon as dressing, not as a crutch or as replacement, for a fantastic core concept. The author really succeeds at that.
The only reason I think I will not be entering the raffle for this one is that I REALLY need to finish a couple of other raffle books I won first and I want to be able to deliver on that. I imagine it'll be a smash hit as soon as it's widely released.
