That was quite a long first look! The book so far seems intense and suspenseful. The world building is decent, and the descriptions of the various aspects required for so many different fields appear to be well-researched. I would like to find out how specifically the children's world functions differently than the former adult world in a further reading of the novel. I'm also curious to see if the scientific explanations for what's going on delve deeper than they do currently. I think the cover is very modern and seems thematically intact with the plot of the book in the first hundred or so pages.
