First of all, I love it that there's a list with a cast of characters. I recently had that in a Japanese thriller, that helped a lot!
I love the first lines, you really feel you are zooming in down from space to a specific place on our planet.
I enjoy the style of the book. And the dialogues sound lively.
I actually don't remember reading a YA science-fiction, but it seems to work here in the context of regular school life for teens, so I'm intrigued and would love to read the book.
The cover is not attractive to me though.
