I read Frankly in Love when it first came out, and I absolutely adored it. Honestly I bought it just because first of all I loved both of Nicola Yoon's books, but also because I love the fake dating trope and I was also just really into the dark blue spray painted edges. It was getting mixed reviews, but I thought it was a flawless book. It was wonderfully written, the romance was really sweet, and it was great at talking about family dynamics and Frank's relationship with his culture as a Korean American kid. The synopsis for this book seems really cool, and I already have it preordered, so I'm really looking forward to it. The cover is also absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to add it to my shelf. To be quite honest I'm not as interested in the synopsis of this one, because I don't know how I feel about him lying about who he is to get the girl, especially in a way that's so public and is bound to blow up in his face, and I know I'm going to experience some second hand embarrassment with this book, but regardless I trust David Yoon and hopefully I really enjoy this book.
