I really did not enjoy this as much as I wanted to. I was super duper excited. I ended up DNF-ing this book (I did not finish it) because of a couple reasons. The first being, I feel like the characters were extremely underdeveloped. At first I was like "Oh, they are all a bit nerdy with some trauma. Hopefully there's more to each character than that." But, I really didn't see a lot more than that. The characters were extremely disrespectful towards the adults in their lives, most notably their gym coach who they were constantly making fun of and calling names, then they were so extremely shocked when they were shunned by him. This shows the life lesson of "do not expect respect from someone unless you are able to respect them in return." I was dragging through this book and it took me months to get about half-way through, so eventually I just gave in. I may come back to this book in the future, but I am not planning on that currently.

*Thank you BookishFirst and Penguin Random House (G.P. Putnam's Sons) for sending me an early copy of this book*
