I don't know if I'm just not a fan of David Yoon or what. I think I liked this a little bit better than "Frankly in Love" but I did not like Sunny, who is our main character. I found Sunny to take advantage of his friends and I can't believe everyone just goes along with Sunny's scheme. Gray actually helps his brother, which I guess is kind of realistic. I think Gray had way more complexity to him than Sunny did. Gray had his dreams shattered and is kind of spiralling and then his younger brother is pretending to be a rock star to impress a girl. The thing that kills be is how quick everyone forgives Sunny. I'm sorry I don't think he deserves the girl AT ALL. Maybe I'm bitter, but I'm happily in relationship that didn't require me to manipulate and lie to my partner. I was close to DNFing this book, but pushed my way through it. There were enough parts that pushed this to a 3 star read for me from CAWPILE (I credit this to Gunner and Gray and Sunny's friends). Overall I kind of felt pretty meh about this book, especially because of Sunny.
