This book was really cute! I took me a bit to get used to the style and language; or maybe I’m just getting old because there seemed some youth talk and sayings I didn’t at first flow with. Once I got the hang of it, it was an easy and fun read. It reminded me of one of those 80’s rom coms; just a real feel good, finding yourself and love teen story. There’s a lot here for both music lovers and D&D fans, which I am both! I loved the little musical snobbery witticisms, such as “Coldplay is just a watered down U2”.
