Any book by David Yoon is bound to be amazing! His writing style if descriptive, but not too complex to lose the reader's interest. He does an amazing job with his YA literature. I love how nerdy and introverted the main character seems, which can allow him to be more relatable to many readers. The novels appears to slowly guide their readers through the main character's sort of identity crisis and secret filled life. The trope of the novel is essentially someone pretending to be someone they're not but honestly isn't that what people do nowadays in our society. So of course that part of the plot was a tad bit cliche, but nevertheless the novel still appears to be extremely enjoyable to many. Also, the diverse character reresentation is always important, wholesome, and amazing to see and read. All in all, this is definitely a good one.
