Growing up, asian representation was not so prominent in many books therefore whenever I find a book with asian characters and asian authors I will always read it! Representation like this is extremely important. As for the novel itself, it has me hooked. A boy completely faking his identity only for it to completely possibly screw him over? I am here for it. I am a sucker for stories like this because it makes me feel giddy and happy. And with the current state of the world, we need all the happiness we can get. The cover reminds me of an 80's movie and I cannot get over it.
