I really enjoyed how Sunny Dae is in no way the traditional character (especially for YA). He is Asian, he is a nerd, and he is awkward. But that's what makes him great. Despite being someone I have very little in common with, he is someone I like and want to know more about. As all YA stories are, I can probably predict where this story is likely to go, but I still want to know how it ends and how they get there. I also enjoyed the cover. Very cute and semi-retro and fitting with the title.
