Maybe I’m just too old to appreciate this modern day language and writing style Depicting teenagers. Whatever the case, I found it difficult to follow the storyline in spite of my empathy for the characters in this novel I do believe the story has possibilities for delivering a positive and much-needed message to young people who are searching to discover themselves in the midst of bullying and their own uniqueness. The first look fell short of keeping me interested enough to want to continue reading the book, but I wouldn’t count it down and out among teenagers.
