I loved this author's first book, Frankly in Love, so I am hopeful that I will enjoy this book as well. The cover design is amazing and the blurb makes me very interested in the story. However, after reading the excerpt provided of this book, I'm not sure if it will live up to my expectations. I liked the characters and the story/plot so far, but I did not like the writing style. I'm not sure if this is something that will change, but maybe I'll grow used to it as I read more of the book.
