I immediately thought that this sounded cute but had to get it once I realized the author wrote Frankly in Love.
Sunny isn’t popular but he’s smart. He has a couple of great friends. He misses his older brother. He definitely thinks his older brother is cool, he’s even been in bands.
This book excerpt ends with Sunny standing in his brother’s old room and his parents inviting over friends. Sunny is supposed to make their daughter feel comfortable at her new school.
Sounds cute already.
