This is not typically my type of book, but I found myself really enjoying the first look. I thought the author did a great job creating Sunny as a character in a short amount of time and also the world around him. I could visualize being in his high school trying to avoid track practice and (unfortunately) the big kid Gunner bullying the so-called 'nerds.' I think this will be a very fun story and also a great coming of age type of book as Sunny tries to discover who he is as an individual amidst of world of pressures all around him.
