I went into this with low expectations because I have never been into poetry and the ones I have read, I haven not liked, but I actually really appreciated this?? No one is more shocked than me lol here's a snippet:
"Scars aren’t proof
that you’ve been hurt
scars are proof
that you have healed.

and so do men"
I liked the incorporation of humor at the end. There are so many quotable lines in this and we only got the first few pages, so imagine how great the book is as a whole.
