Not something I'm used to
This was so interesting because I didn't know the author, didn't read the mini bio, and went straight into reading the First Impression, and for some reason, I thought it was written by a woman. I felt like the sensitivity, the patience, the space, felt very feminine and I was so surprised to see a picture of a man for the author!
Some of them really clicked with me, like the poems on pg. 8 & 13, and some were really lost on me like pg. 12. I'm still trying to understand the nuances in the spacing, the italicized, the punctuation, etc. I am not familiar with the author so it takes some getting used to.
