I absolutely love poetry, so I was immediately interested in this book. I loved. the tone and prose of the poems. The message was powerful, thought provoking and a bit emotional. All of the poems were incredibly relatable and they type of writing that may make you think about unpleasant memories, but that ultimately makes you feel good about yourself and what you have overcome. I can't wait to read the rest of this book.
