Poetry, for me, is really hard to critique. In my opinion, it is art and art, of course, is in the eye of the beholder. For me, it missed the mark a little to consider it poetry... it felt more like a collection of thoughts. Or like a jot-down style journal.
The cover was really nice, and I like the image in the beginning. I can definitely understand people making connections with this book, but it didn't really do much for me.
