I haven’t heard of the author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I love poetry but sometimes I don’t love modern poetry, I’m not a huge fan of a poem with all lower case letters and no punctuation. So I held my breath a bit. But I enjoyed this poetry excerpt. I like the writing style. I also loved the first poem about scars.
