I'm a little over books about rich kids and I didn't realize this one was the same, but the format was pretty neat. A friend in their group is murdered, and while there is investigative stuff going on in the present, we get vignettes from everyone's lives leading up to the murder, and sort of get information on why each of the friends would have not necessarily wanted that guy to stay alive. The main character has a pretty plausible way to listen in on the interviews, and it gives us a full view of everyone, their reasons, and their lies. The twists come a little out of left field, but they really weren't too bad. There's a romance that's slow burn and a little cheesy, especially when the love interest has a form of synesthesia that allows him to taste words which is why he always uses the MC's full name lol. It tastes like his favorite homecooked meal allegedly.
