I completely loved this book, absolutely binged it. I loved the high school / 1920s theme / Knives Out vibe. The setting was very unique, on the set of Izzy and Kassidy’s favorite movie. A week long celebration from graduating high school with a friends group full of secrets. The book was told mainly in Izzy’s POV.
Each character had the means and motive to kill Blaine, and each of them left you guessing until the end. So many times I thought I knew who did it, and the actual killer never crossed my mind. Isolated and without communications with their family, two police detectives came to the island to get to the bottom of what happened.
There were several surprises that came up during the investigation, twists I definitely wasn’t expecting.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and if you enjoy mysteries of this nature, you probably will too!
