This book is the debut novel of Lauren Muñoz and overall I enjoyed it. I enjoyed how the author wrote the book in a way that all the characters had a motive for killing Blaine as it created distractions from who the real killer was. It made the book really enjoyable as I kept second-guessing who it could be and it wasn't boring and predictable. The book is a great mystery book with all of the confusion, drama, and multiple suspects/motives. I also really enjoyed the flashbacks. Although the flashbacks were not in chronological order I think they still worked well in the story as it adds more insight into the people and their possible motives for killing. The book was well written and the writing style made it a fast and easy read making it so that I couldn't put the book done. I also enjoyed the characters at first it was confusing who was who but later in the story it gets fixed.
