I was blown away that we start off the book with a prologue from the killers point of view and can get a snippet of insight into the killers motivations. This also foreshadows that there is going to be a crazy plot twist. I also felt that mix of the characters we see in the beginning are fun to learn about and I’m getting in my Dreams I Hold a Knife vibes from this intro.
