I wasn't expecting the writing to be so effortless and charming, but it is! I love how there's no long introduction or exposition in the beginning, you're just plopped into the story with Izzy, who happens to have a knife that she plans on using. Together the characters and writing make the story feel alive and suspenseful, and make you want to know why Izzy would want to kill Blaine, and if she ends up doing it. The story is set in a manor too, which is the perfect setting.

The cover is nice and I love the colors used; it screams "glamor" and "murder mystery."
