In some ways this reads as your typical fish out of water story. A girl who is poorer than the rest of her friends doesn’t feel as if she fully fits in and is ready to put high school behind her. Lots of characters, lots of drama alluded to and a sudden week away together make it seem like a fun and juicy read. I would be able to resist the cover and the first pages would make me curious about what comes next.
