My first impression was not a waste of time. (Taylor Swift got this quote all wrong, lol). I always go into 'retelling' stories with a little grain of salt. However, that was not needed this time. Strike the Zither looks to be very well done for a retelling and with a stunning cover to match. I'm all in for finishing this. (plus if you have not yet read the authors previous works, take a look at them because they are great!)
