Honestly I had a hard time making it through the first look, this is not a book for me. I tend to stay away from young adult novels, war stories, and fantasy books, so this one simply didn’t appeal to me.
I did enjoy the family tree and the illustration in the beginning, those types of items are always nice additions / supplement the reading quite well. I also thought the cover was gorgeous and visually appealing.
The writing was good, but the story was not for me. Nonetheless, I’m sure those in the target audience will like this.
