For me I’m always trying to expand my horizons. I love fantasy books but sometimes I feel like I keep it really safe with my fantasy choices. I told myself that I wanted to dive into more POC written books and so far I’ve done an okay job. I think that next year I want that to be a focus of mine. I don’t know much about ancient Asian cultures either so I think it would be cool to try and find influences throughout the book. I also love the cover!
